We are thrilled to have won a Bronze award at the UKCX Awards last night.  The awards, which celebrate the country’s best customer experience initiatives, were hosted by Awards International and the winners were announced at an awards ceremony at Wembley Stadium.

CGA were shortlisted for two awards.  Firstly, for the Customers At The Heart of Everything award for their work with Dudley Building Society and secondly, for the CGA Empathy Lab training delivered in collaboration with Chiltern Railways, CrossCountry Trains and the Rail Delivery Group, which was nominated for the Best Learning & Development Programme.

Carla Hall, Chief Delivery Officer at CGA says, “We are delighted to be finalists for this award which celebrates the business transformation journey our client, Dudley Building Society, went through.  We provided rich insight into their customers and helped them achieve their goal and growth plan by focusing their priorities. The results were not only good for their business, but delivered strong employee engagement too.”

Chris Garthwaite, CEO of CGA comments, “We are thrilled that the CGA Empathy Lab has been acknowledged as one of the best learning & development programmes for customer experience by winning a Bronze UKCX award.  The interactive and immersive training programme uses a blend of behavioural psychology, immersive tools and augmented/virtual reality to provide real-life frontline scenarios for learners to walk in the customers shoes.  It’s a highly innovative approach that provides organisations with the ability to empathise with customers and colleagues, and to easily apply the skills and learnings within the workplace.”

Chris continues, “We were encouraged that 100% of learners stated, post training, that they knew how to apply the learnings in situations where they had to diffuse or prevent potential conflict. We believe this will lead to a reduction in staff absences and an increase in customer satisfaction. The fact that the CGA Empathy Lab has achieved a Bronze award is a huge accolade for us too and testament to the effort our clients and our team have put in.”
